Understanding ACEs: Building Self-Healing Communities
The ACEs Interface training provides an introduction to the finding and importance of the 1998 Adverse Childhood Experiences study. The presentation will cover the impact that early trauma has on the brain and the findings from the study that document the lifelong impacts that ACEs have on health, mental health, social, and cognitive well-being. A brief introduction to core protective systems will be covered as well.
