Short Film “UNFAIR” on Betrayal – virtual community event

Erryn and Ava were once inseparable from their shared tumultuous past in “the life.” Their paths diverged when Ava took on a burden that allowed Erryn to escape. Ava was left feeling deeply BETRAYED by this UNFAIR set of events. Ava carried the weight of her sacrifice that altered both of their futures. This fracture left Ava questioning what might have been if their roles had been reversed.

Years later, fate brings them back to the same fairgrounds where they once worked together in “the life.” Erryn arrives with a “good” date, someone who knows nothing of her past, only to have her carefully constructed present disrupted by a chance encounter with Ava. Despite Ava’s outward confidence and exuberance, Erryn recognizes the struggles still etched beneath the surface—Ava was left behind with no clear way out.

As the two girls confront one another, the scars of betrayal resurface, exposing the shame, judgment, and loss that have turned their once-unbreakable bond into a tense encounter.
