Indiana Suicide Prevention Network/MHAI currently holds a grant from DMHA to provide FREE Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS) training sessions throughout the state. This training is for Clinicians or Master Level students.
The CAMS framework consists of an approach for guided suicide-focused risk assessment and ongoing psychosocial intervention.
- Mental health professionals have reported that the CAMS Framework has given them a way to confidently treat suicidal patients effectively in as few as 6-8 sessions.
- Completing CAMS training gives the behavioral health professional access to valuable assessment and treatment tools, as well as access to a professional referral and resource network
- Two (2) parts to training
- Three (3) hour self-paced video learning
- Unscripted Clinical demonstration of CAMS
- One (1) day instructor-led role play
- Become a Certified CAMS Clinician
