The Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services is excited to announce the DDRS Advisory Council is recruiting a new member to serve in the individual with intellectual or other developmental disability role. This is a lived experience role.
The DDRS Council meetings are held nine months throughout the year on the third Wednesday of the month from 10am-12pm. Certain meetings are in person and some are virtual.
The Individual appointed to the Council in this role is provided with reimbursement for parking expenses, as needed. Additionally, DDRS will provide access accommodations in connection with the member’s duties as provided in the state policies and procedures.
After applying, your application will be reviewed for potential membership. It is possible you will be contacted for a virtual interview with DDRS staff members. Applicants who are not appointed are invited to stay actively engaged in DDRS activities.
