A Museum for Everyone
Our museum isn’t just for veterans—it’s for anyone who wants to understand and honor the service of those who have sacrificed for our nation. In 2025, we welcomed visitors through our doors during open house events spanning May through December, and we’re thrilled to announce an exciting calendar of military observances and commemorations for 2026.
What’s Coming in 2026
With sufficient funding secured through Q2 2026, we are positioning ourselves for sustainable growth and expanded programming. From March through December, we have carefully planned 15 events to recognize the service and sacrifice of military personnel across all branches and eras:
K9 Veterans Day (March 13)—Honoring all animals in military service
POW Recognition & Armed Forces Day (April & May)—Honoring sacrifice and service
Women Veteran Day & Army Birthday (June)—Celebrating women in uniform and 251 years of Army service
Quilts of Valor Presentations (April 22 & September 17)—A deeply moving tribute to our heroes
America’s 250th Birthday Celebration (July 4 & surrounding dates)—Our centerpiece event, a once-in-a-generation opportunity to commemorate our nation’s heritage
Service Branch Birthdays & Veterans Day (August–November)—Recognition across the entire military community
Space Force Birthday (December 20)—Honoring our nation’s newest military branch
