**About Aspire’s Mobile Crisis Team**

Aspire’s mobile crisis team always consists of two members, including a peer with lived experience, who will arrive in an Aspire vehicle. The team provides triage, resources, de-escalation, support, and safety planning. If more intensive care is needed, the team can assist with coordination and transportation, if necessary. Mobile crisis services are completely optional and voluntary, as not every crisis situation requires this service.

Follow-up support is also part of the mobile crisis response. We understand that a crisis can be overwhelming, and we aim to provide support beyond the immediate situation. We will always develop a follow-up plan that best meets the individual’s needs.

To access the mobile crisis team, please contact Aspire’s Crisis line at (317) 574-1252 or call 988. The crisis coordinator will gather the necessary information before dispatching the team.
* For first responders: The crisis coordinator will collect basic demographic information for the individual needing support, basic information on how the mobile team will support you, and contact information for a point of contact who is on-scene.
* For all other callers: The crisis coordinator will assess the situation and the individual’s needs to determine whether mobile crisis support would be beneficial. If so, the coordinator will ask additional safety questions to ensure the team’s safety or will collaborate with you to put additional safety measures in place before dispatching the team.
